A walk in Thessaloniki, Greece – 23.03.2019 /part 5/.
Aristotle Square.
The Greeks are very respectful of Aristotle!
He was the teacher of Alexander the Great.
The square on which his monument was erected bears his name – Aristotle /in Greek Aristotelo/.
There is a belief that if you rub your thumb on the left leg of his statue, you will receive enlightenment and wisdom…
That’s why this part of the statue is so glossy :)))
Well, I rubbed it, but I’m not sure I’m wiser :)))
I would love to visit one day.
