I’ve recently been on a 10 day holiday to Spain. I’m lucky enough that my Mother and Stepfather lives in Spain, so I get to holiday frequently there. Mum lives in the south of Spain about half an hours drive from the city of Malaga. This photo I took with my mobile phone and is the view from where my mum lives. She lives in the mountains in a small village. It’s nice that the houses aren’t very close together. There is large parts of land in between each property. It’s so quiet too. Although that house you see in the distance, they have peacocks there, so you can hear them squawking all the time lol.
The sun was just beginning to set when I took this photo, so the mountains in the distance look lovely, almost like a painting! You wouldn’t think you were so close to towns being up in the mountains. It’s amazing really you can be in a place that seems so far away from civilization yet when you have a car (you need one there!) you can be in the nearest town in just a few minutes!
I would love to see this area.

I’ve been to Europe two times, but never visited Spain. I shall have to chance in 2019 or 2020, when I planning to visit Portugal. Maybe it will be possible to visit the borders.
