Love ItLove It

The Bridge of Love in Vrnjacka Spa.

Robin Biznis May 31.2019 Belgrade, Serbia

On the bridge there is a board with a story about how a bridge of love arose.I’ll give you what they write on the board. At the dawn of the First World War, while the war was still not even suspected, a schoolmistress Nada and a Serbian officer Relja began to have deep feelings for each other. They really fell in love and made a commitment to each other. It was a great talk about the love that attracted the attention of all the people living in Vrnjacka Spa.But the war did break out with all the horrors it entails,Relja went off to war fought in Greece.Hi left never to return on account of a beautiful Greek woman he had fallen in love with, and therefore broke up the engagement to Nada. The legend does not say anything about his further fate, while on the other hand, every inhabitant of Vrnjacka Spa is familiar Nada destiny.Owing to over helming  sorrow she faded day after day and finally died.young and miserable.Upset by Nada, girls, wishing to keep their own romances, began writing their dawn names along with the names of their lovers on padlocks that they bound to the ridge of the bridge that used to be the favorite meeting place of Nada and Relja.

Afterwards the keys were symbolically thrown into the river.New wars and sufferings came up.The story fell into oblivion and the girls custom to “bind” their love became uncustomary. It was the case until Desanka Maksimovic-Serbian writer-according to stories of old residents of Vrnjacka Spa, became acquainted with this tragic story.Inspired by it she wrote down one of her most beautiful love poems “A Prayer Love”Although we tend to forget things, this story remains to be unforgotten and in order to prolong it is the existence of you couples kept on with the tradition of “binding” their love and the bridge it self got the name “The Bridge of Love”

    • When I first saw this bridge for the first time and read the story, I was sad for unwritten love. Please learn.
      Well here.
The aforementioned bookstore Desanka Maksimovic wrote the poem “Bloody Fairy Tale”. The event took place in 1941. The names of the students in Kragujevac town in Serbia, were to burn teachers of one school.
Their crews volunteered for the teacher
      They’re all shot.
      Great German crime.
      Here’s the poem;

      A bloody fairy tale
It was in some peasant country
      in the hilly Balkans,
      She died with martyrdom
      company pupil
      in one day.

      They are the same years
      all were born,
      They also had school days,
      at the same ceremony
      together they are guided,
of the same diseases all pelcated,
and all died on the same day.

It was in some peasant country
      in the hilly Balkans,
      She died with martyrdom
      company pupil
      in one day.

      And fifty-five minutes
      before the death penalty
she was sitting in the student’s bench
      company small

And the same tasks are difficult
      Solved: How Much Can
traveler if he goes on foot …
      and so on.

      Their thoughts were full
      the same numbers,
and on the notes in the school bag
      senseless lay lying
      five and two.

A lot of the same dreams
      and the same secrets
      patriotic and love
they pressed in the bottom of their pockets.

      It seemed to everyone
      that long,
      that very long,
      Run under the vault blue
while all the tasks in the world
      does not fetch.

It was in some peasant country
      in the hilly Balkans
      She died with heroic death
      company pupil
      in the same day.

      Boys’ rows are whole
      They took their hands
and from the school last time
      shoot peacefully
      as if death was nothing.

      Friends rows whole
At the same time they got to know each other
      to eternal residence.

      Thank you very much Doc.
