St Mary's Church in Attleborough, Norfolk

Attleborough is a town very close to my heart.  It is a market town which is 19 miles from Norwich, the main city in the county of Norfolk, England.  I grew up in Attleborough, and  went to high school here.  My father was born here and still lives in the town.  So I often still visit Attleborough all these years later, and I always have happy memories.

When I last visited him, I decided on going to visit my Grandparents grave.  It had been several years since I’d been, so it was long overdue.  Anyway, that done I then decided to go to the main Church which is right in the heart of Attleborough.  I took a few photographs which I thought I would share with you.  The stained glass windows I particularly love.  Although you’ve got the hustle and bustle of town life surrounding the Church, I love how when you walk in, it is peaceful and relaxing.  I spent quite a long time here looking round and taking a few photo’s.  It had been quite a few years since I last went inside St Mary’s Church, so it was nice to get re-acquainted

  1. I love old stained glass. Great shots – the light streaming through the stained glass is awesome! Life intervenes sometimes, I haven’t visited my grandparent’s graves in more than 10 years. I should go.
