Shell Gas Station at The Bishop Museum

Here at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Bradenton, Florida there were several very large exhibits in the upstairs galleries. This one was a complete gas station.  It was a Shell station from Bradenton back from the “Good Ole Days” where Model A and T Fords were on the road and gas pumps had glass cylinders at the top full of gasoline that you could see go down as it filled into your car. It was 15 Cents a gallon at the time. I remember when gas was 27 cents per gallon when I was first starting to drive.
