It sits right in the heart of a densely populated urban area. Here you can enjoy landscaped parkland and a recreation area. In the background are The Dublin Mountains. This park overlooks The Square shopping center.
There are ornamental formal gardens and such water features as ponds and waterfalls. Many trees offering shaded areas. For sports enthusiasts, there are play pitches located close to the local community school.
Since the park adjoins Old Bawn Road there is a footbridge that will take people to The Square. In the park, there are pedestrian paths around the ponds. It is a great place to have picnics in the summertime.
