Romantic memories of winter

These photos I made to the Borovets resort in Bulgaria

Borovets is the largest mountain resort in Bulgaria. It is situated 1350 meters above sea level at the foot of Mount Musala (2925 m). It is 11 km from Samokov, 75 km from Sofia and 125 km from Plovdiv. The Borovets Resort offers great opportunities for mountain holidays all year round. Summer is cool and the snowy winter is soft.

A healthy climate has made it a desirable place for recreation and sport. Excellent opportunities are provided here for practicing winter sports and therefore the resort has already been hosted twice by the World Cup in Alpine Skiing. There is also a biathlon track, which is one of the best in the world. A well-developed network of lifts caters to 11,200 tourists per hour and provides access to all runs. The length of the slopes is 60 km and they are of varying degrees of difficulty. They are kept in excellent condition and the thickness of the snow cover is on average over 1.2 meters. There are over 10 hubs where you can rent ski, ski, sleds, or leave your equipment in storage. The active ski school is internationally renowned and has more than 150 foreign language instructors. A certificate is issued after the training. For the security of the tourists in Borovets, there are several emergency teams, fully equipped and equipped with a helicopter.
