While many are familiar with the Red Rocks Amphitheater, which featured prominently in U2’s Sunday Bloody Sunday music video many years ago, Red Rocks (near Denver, Colorado) is also destination for hikers, runners, and cyclists in the rocky mountain area. We ventured out with the kids on the 1.4 mile “Trading Post Trail”, but there is a 6 mile loop available for more seasoned hikers.
At some point in time of the last few years, the images had disappeared from this post. Luckily, I was able to find my “Red Rocks” folder so that I could add back a few pictures. Red Rocks has a number of interesting rock formations, a few of which are pictured below. Enjoy!
