This is a view of Piha Beach without the tourist Lion rock, the Lion rock is to the left. From where I am standing taking this photo, it’s high up from the road from a rest area, where any visitor can park and take a look at the view and more than what you see here.
Piha Beach is West Auckland that’s connected to the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand. It has Black sand. Quite a few New Zealand beaches have black sand or iron sand.
Just thought you might like the view.
How graciously looked at the old and the young coming and going from where you took the picture.
