Pico Canoeing in the Wilderness

We are out in the Adirondack wilderness near Paul Smith’s College at the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) meet. Whenever we go canoeing I take my little companion along while I have her with me for the summer. Pico is in my little 24 # Wee Lassie stripper canoe and seems totally at home on the water and is often found standing with two paws up on the deck looking around. She is on her leash as there are loons going by and the occasional beaver.
