Peterborough Aqua Board at the Canadian Canoe Museum

One of the oddest and most unusual “boats” on storage in the Canadian Canoe Museum’s collection in Peterborough, Canada was the “Peterborough Aqua Board“.  This was not a canoe or kayak, but was made by the Peterborough Canoe Company as a pull behind board that people laid on or sat on or even stood on while being pulled behind a motorboat. There were no dates, captions or photos of it in use as it was in the collection storage area. You can see the worn holes in the front board where ropes had been through it.
