I very much like to spend my free time in nature, so I visit beautiful places in my small country (Slovenia). One of these places is the pearl of Slovenia – Bled. Bled surroundings and natural beauty of the most beautiful alpine resorts, known mild weather and thermal lake water.
The beauty of the mountains reflected in the lake, sun, peace and fresh air arouse pleasant feelings in visitors throughout the year, providing ideal conditions for relaxing break or an active holiday.
6 km trail around the lake is just the right length for easy recreation, such as walking or riding a bike. The path also leads to the scenic hill – at Castle Hill and the surrounding mountains, from where a magnificent view.
We can rest on one of the benches and enjoy the view of the lake with an island and Karavanke in the distance and watch the game of ducks and swans on the water.
In summer, we can cool off in the water or enjoy the castle on the beach, which annually attracts crowds of tourists.
Bled attracts businessmen, artists, athletes, explorers, sport enthusiasts, young and old, people from all over the world. By enchanting them and make sure that you always want to return.
Bled is best known for the Bled lake island with the church, which at first glance take our breath away because of its exceptional beauty. At the lake shore is 120 m high cliff rises with its medieval castle. The first traces of humans in Bled, from the Stone Age.
Bled today tidy resort with many hotels, private accommodation, camping and various domestic and foreign cuisine. They are particularly known for their delicious cream cake. It is also famous as a rowing-race center and as a starting point for many excursions and walks

This place is well worth a visit. I have about 30 minutes drive to this place so I visit it often.
