Another visit to Parnell Rose Gardens on the way home. It’s entirely free and so here are some views of this park. It was once privately owned as a Diary Farm by the Gillies family but it was also confiscated by the New Zealand Government. I’m not sure the situation of this. I guess the government had a reason at the time.
There is hundreds of Roses grown here and to visit you are in for a treat. There are seats to sit on and I believe the original homestead is used for special occasions.

Here is a bee inside carrying pollen. There are many bees in this garden.
