There are all different types in this garden but this one I will use to say, “Good Night!”.
Parnell Rose Gardens is free to visit. It once was a farm that belonged to the “Gillies” family. It was an early diary farm but hard to imagine now as it is. In the middle of Auckland city with tourists visiting.
Mum tells me this family was related to us. Well, now it’s probably cousins several times removed! A lovely idea to keep a rose garden here. Hope it stays for a very long time.
