On a recent family road trip, we stopped by Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. While you really need a whole day to really “do” the zoo, the kids enjoyed catching a few of the exhibits. After visiting the “Desert Dome”, we visited the Berniece Grewcock Butterfly and Insect Pavilion. The exhibit is setup like a horseshoe which funnels visitors from the entrance to exit. In retrospect, I would have tried to go slower through the butterfly house. The visitor flow pushed us through the exhibit faster than I would have liked. Nonetheless, I did get a few nice pictures.
