Ngaruawahia

Went down to Ngaruawahia as it was gale force winds and bitterly cold in Auckland. Its about two hours south of Auckland and near the Waikato river.

Here are some photos of this area.

Ngaruawahia was known as a very tough area, but after this visit I have a different opinion. As I walked around to look at this place, many strangers came up and greeted me. They didn’t look rough or tough, but were very pleasant people.

Here are the views. See for yourself.

#1 Oak tree on the river path

A pathway goes around by the river side of the Waikato river.

#2 Continued pathway

This goes up hill and round the corner its next to a road.

Belongs to a rich person I think.

  1. I don’t see the arrows for voting photos up and down. Is this a classic list post? I get really mixed up between the kinds of lists, but I like to make posts where the photos can’t be changed from the order I gave them. How did you do this?

    • I think that no matter what list you decide to post, you can always change it whether people can vote or not. There are two options to the right, on top of “save draft”: OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS and OPEN FOR VOTING. You can tick/untick them before you publish your post. I hope this helps.
