A colorsplash I did some time back… It was the mood I wanted to capture and project. Knowing the sadhu or yogi weren’t too willing subjects unless paid (I wasn’t going to be negotiating a photography deal there…) I had to shoot from a distance. But the effect with this backdrop was exactly what I wanted – a little eerie, or haunted but in broad daylight. I think I achieved it with this monochrome with the sadhu standing out in his saffron coloured robes.
