On August 6th I went with my mom to visit Venice for her birthday. Venice is 2 hours far from my home and we went there by car. This time we took the “vaporetto”, the boat that are used as buses to move around the lagoon. It was beautiful to see the everything from Canal Grande, the main channel.
Look how amazing it looks.
I think this is a sculpture made for Venice Biennale, the main exibition about contemporary art held in this city. I wasn’t able to visit it, my trip only lasted a day and this exibition needs two days to see it fully.
Some gondolas near Saint Mark’s square.
A wonderful pst with beautiful pictures. I love that place so much and never get tired of seeing pictures from there/
Nice pic!
Beautiful photography!
Lovely photographs!
Beautiful photos, I’ve always wanted to visit Venice!
Enjoyed the pictures! Thank you for sharing them.
A few days ago I watched youtube stating that Venice is one of the areas to be swallowed by water. It’s a pity if it happens. There will be no more beautiful pictures of Venice as you present in this post.
I want to go there definitely now! Thank you
Encore! Loved the shots!
I’d love to visit Venice. You’re so lucky!
Venice has been on my wish list since I was 10
Venice has been on my wish list since I was 10, hope to visit it one day…
I hope to have a chance to visit Vanessa
I love the hands rising from the water, seems the eternal struggle of Venice to keep the water at bay. Awesome pictures, great narrative also!
Your interpretation could be the meaning of this sculpture, I’m looking for more info about it.
Please share if you find out more, I was just guessing!
I would love to visit Venice too, such a wonderful place!
