Meeting on the Green at Paul Smith’s College

At the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) meet at Paul Smith’s College in the Northern Adirondacks this summer, they had hundreds of antique and newer wooden canoes out on the Green or big field.  This was directly adjacent to Lower Saint Regis Lake so you could go canoeing or try out most of the canoes at any time.

On a couple of occasions they had experts and professional canoe builders go out and do talks on some of the important and interesting canoes. Here is a group discussing one of the canoes there.
