   • Thanks so much Doc, not much is made known to the general public but its here to see. There are no public facilities here, so you need to be prepared for that. It’s a place in the middle of nowhere

   • Thanks so much Alex. I speak more like the British than American people only with a New Zealand accent.
     Maori words you can speak as it ‘s spelt but you have to remember that Maori vowel sounds are different from the British vowel sounds.

     I have a confession to make, I did not get the name of the place right until I saw today a sign that did not say Marokopa but Mangapohue.
     In my type of speech Mangapohue is said
     Mang -a -p-oh-who-ee.

     • If their writing is truly phonetic then it is already better than English. Vowel pronunciation varies from culture to culture anyway…

       • Thanks Alex, there are a few consonants missing from the Maori language. They don’t use the letter S , X, Z, b, f or use th like the english, nor the letter d, g, j, l, q, c, v, x. I think there is only 10 or 11 letters in their alphabet.

9. Looks like a great way to spend the day and tons of exercise.

   • Thanks Carol, I did not feel tired after the walk, it has a good footpath and the hardest parts are the stairs. If you take your time, you are fine it is not hard work.
