Madurodam, a mini-Holland!

A must visit in Holland. Madurodam is another tourist attraction in the Netherlands located in Scheveningen, The Hague district. Very cool and impressive work that shows all the famous Dutch landmarks such as Churches, historical buildings and Parks of the Netherlands. In the beginning, there is a short film that will show you the story behind a Madurodam history and the man himself, George John Lionel Maduro, that at a young age, he became a military officer when Germany invaded the Netherlands on 10th May 1940. He was appointed to second-lieutenant-reserve of which, under his command, defeated the German ground troops stationed in Rijswijk were defeated and parachutists were captured.

The details of this miniature buildings are impeccable and a great place to visit, don’t miss it! Kids will definitely love it. There are shop and cafe there too which are reasonably priced and are great. Tickets can be bought online or pay there. Have fun and hope you enjoy my pics! 🙂 🙂

  1. That is a great post. All the pictures are very good. I like that there are some people in some for reference. It must be like being a giant for a minute. That’s very cool.
    Cheers!
