The Kennel Club Library in London, England is the place where you can find thousands of books about dogs. This library collection makes it the largest dog book library in Europe. You’ll discover that there are books that include every Kennel Club-recognized dog breed, covering topics like dog health, veterinary care, breeding, and dogs in art and literature.
There is also a rare book section. Its oldest book from the 16th century deals with forest laws stating what kinds of dogs could be kept in the forest. There are scrapbooks, notebooks, and dog memorabilia from prominent breeders. Many different national and international dog periodicals and magazines as well as club yearbooks and newsletters.
Keep in mind that the Kennel Club Library is by appointment only and they also have Europe’s largest dog art gallery.
