This is a selection of the photos I took a few years ago on holiday in Western Ireland. Most of these shots were taken in County Mayo, with a few just over the border into County Galway. It struck us that this scenery was highly reminiscent of England’s Lake District.
We were there in April. Had we been in the Lake District at this time, we would not have had the place to ourselves, as we appear to have been on our visit!
