Harmony, silence, and peace on vacation

I share some photos from my trip to Fuerteventura. We were there a week and traveled through the entire island. With the help of our friends who live there, we got to know every corner of that beautiful island.

There are many beaches on the island, the main thing is to find what you need. On some of them, nudism thrives and this is the norm, get used to this or go away. As I mentioned, there are many beaches, and you for sure will find your favorite one.

The beaches on the island are mostly sandy, the sand is small, warm and golden. There are also beaches where pebbles are volcanic rocks, but we did not like the dark sand there, I prefer golden sand.

if you want to see the entire island, it is the must to rent an auto.

There are places where you can see beautiful flowering cacti growing.  I love these prickly plants, so the word cacti will make me walk even on foot to the place where they grow.

And be sure to visit Betancuria, which is considered the most beautiful settlement on the island. This settlement has a rich historical past. It was founded in 1404 by the conquistador Jean de Betancourt, who conquered the island. It was the capital of the island for a very long time, right up to 1834.

Betancuria only got once from the pirate Arraezes. He destroyed almost the entire city and massacred most of the population. The villain even encroached on the shrine, the local church. The atheist destroyed it so that only a pile of stones remained.Since most of the population was destroyed, a handful of those who remained rebuilt the city for nearly thirty years.

For everyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday, without big loud noise, without rattling music, without a crowd of vacationers, this is the place for you. Here you will get harmony, silence, and peace. The only drawback is the wind, but you can get used to everything. Moreover, you are not going to live here, but just to relax.
