Glass ball

Glass ball.

No, I have no intention of guessing by looking at the crystal ball 🙂

I just use it as a magnifying glass to show one of the buildings in Sofia.

This is the former Party House – built between 1948 – 1954.

It was built for the needs of the Communist Party, which governed Bulgaria after World War II until 1990.

A huge building related to an unpleasant episode of the 1300 year history of Bulgaria.

Years ago, on top of this building was a red pentagram…

It was built in a typical Stalin-type architecture at that time.

This building now houses the offices of Members of Parliament.
