Here are two photos I took in Corfu. I’ve been to Greece a few times and I really like it. I love the west part of the country the most, especially the Ionian Islands and Corfu in particular.
Corfu (or Kérkyra) is the second largest of the Ionian Islands. It’s also one of the most beautiful islands there.
Old Fortress, Corfu – A Venetian fortress in the city of Corfu. The northern side of Contrafossa opening to the Gulf of Kerkyra. The sea channel separates the citadel from the island of Corfu.
I took this photo in Paleokastritsa, a village in northwestern Corfu. Palaiokastritsa is supposed to be the place where Odysseus disembarked and met Nausicaa who helped him in his journey.
