Devonport Views from Auckland’s North Shore

This was part of an old Bakehouse down a cafe and we like coming here for a coffee. There are plenty of nice cafes around Devonport.

Here is the Auckland city sky line from Devonport wharf. That hypodermic needle is Auckland's Casino. People protested against the building of it, but now it's become an Auckland icon. taken by iPad

You see quite a lot from Devonport wharf. The hill is Mt Eden, on the left of Mt Eden is a large white building that is Auckland War Memorial Museum. You will see a lot of container ship wharves on the right and behind is a large white building that is Auckland Public Hospital. taken by iPad

The Yacht is about to pass by. Behind that is Mt Eden and to the right of Mt Eden is a large building called "The Pines". It's a very expensive apartment block in Mt Eden that is surrounded by park like surroundings, including a tennis court.Taken by iPad
