Corning Glass Barge in Brockport NY

Downtown Brockport on the Erie Canal near the Welcome Center they often have great festivals and happenings. This past Fall, New York State sponsored Corning Glass Works demonstrating glass blowing on a huge barge. They took the who via the barge from city to city and town to town on the Erie Canal and did 1-3 days shows on glass blowing and making vases and animals out of glass. The Barge had a top that came down to it could go under the many liftbridges and it was pushed from site to site by its accompanying tugboat.  The Tugboat was the Jay Bee V out of NY, NY from the South Street Seaport Museum.
