The Rock Mountains run along the western side of Colorado, while flat plains comprise the eastern part of the state. Given the limited number of trees across prairie, you can see for miles and miles as you traverse different parts of the state. Below are some pictures that I took while traveling in the southwestern corner of the Colorado.
