We are visiting Trent University here in Canada near Peterborough at the WCHA (Wooden Canoe Heritage Association) gathering of Wooden Canoes. The group decided to paddle from Trent University down river on the Trent River to the giant Lift Lock there. Here they are congregating in the water ready to go. There are many types of wooden canoes here from canvas skinned Old Towne types to all wood planks board and batten canoes.
