Canalboat Lois McClure in Brockport

Traveling along with the Corning Museum of Glass‘s Barge was the large Erie Canal Sailboat the Lois McClure. This large boat was used on the canal systems to move large stock and supplies and even cut stones. In lakes, it would set up its sailboat mast and sails and go under sail power. The Lois McClure is out of Burlington, Vermont across Lake Champlain from the Adirondacks in NY State.
