If you are traveling in Baku the capital of Azerbaijan take the time to walk along the Promenade known as Baku Boulevard or Milli Park. It was established in 1909 and stretches along the Baku seafront. Its history goes back over 100 years when oil barons built mansions along the Caspian Sea.

The Baku Crystal Hall which played host to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.
Next to it is the world’s highest flag flying from a pole that is 162 meters high and measures 70 by 35 meters and has been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
