Who would have believed that I could be offline for a month and live to tell the story? I hope everyone had splendid holidays and is looking forward to a marvelous new year. Coming down the hill toward Palms Springs today the cloud cover was so dark and low, I was not sure that Mt. San Jacinto would be visible, but when I got near the wind farm, this vista opened up.
Snow is pretty on a mountain top, but I like for it to stay up there. What about you? Do you like to play in the snow?
I see many of you were very busy on here while I was away and it will be impossible to catch up, but I’ll do the best I can. Thanks for not forgetting me.
Great picture. It snowed the other day in my village and it was great.
You will never be forgotten. Beautiful photo.
I may hold you to that promise, Carol.
You, with all your experiences, show me the combination of determination and spirit of life with all the joy, Ann. I have no snow here to enjoy as you do there but it’s always so glad to hear the joy of all your friends, including you. So glad you are back, Ann.
Thank you very much for the nice welcome, Albert.
You are most welcome, Ann.
What a welcome back home right? I was going to go up but the day I had off they were requiring chains. I love it that we can enjoy nice weather and go visit the snow. Welcome home! I am so glad you survived. I bet it was nice too.
Thank you Kim, I had a great time. I really should go away more often, RFLOL.
I missed you very much and I’m glad you’re back with us dear Ann
Thank you friend lado. I will not have as much time on here as in the summer, but I surely will come when possible.
He’s just listening every time to see that everything is fine with you dear friend
Well dear lado, you do not have to worry about me, because I am always fine, but this time of year very busy and not always able to spend time here.
I understand you completely. It’s winter here and now I have more time to spend here … in the spring, I’ll be a little more here … be nice dear Ann
Ye, LaJenna, it makes the roads quite slippery.
I missed you and your posts, welcome back!
Thanks, Alex, I miss you guys too although it was nice being disconnected for a while.
I had to take a break in December due to hardware and software issues, and it was pretty nice…
Unfortunately I will be offline tomorrow too, but just for one night.
I can’t begrudge you a day off. Have a good time
Welcome back, Ann. My PC is my livelihood and I could never disappear too long from it but of course, for many other people, there is a life beyond the PC. I have returned to my homeland the US and I am settled in Florida so the greatest change in my life is – no snow and warm weather even in January. Wonderful photo.
Thank you RasmaSandra. Once long ago when phones were my livelihood, I locked mine in the trunk of my car for 3 weeks. It annoyed some people, but that time I meant it when I said I was going on vacation! Glad you are back stateside.
Welcome back, Ann … I do not like snow … snow should be in the mountains ?
Thanks vidocka, when I look out the window tomorrow that mountain will have a lot more snow on it as it has been raining down here all day.
Love this photo a lot, and I love to see snow other places lol. It causes too many accidents.
I don’t know why my reply to LaJenna went to the top of the page instead of where it belongs…trying again to see what will happen.
