A view of the River Yare

I took this photo on Sunday 21st July.  I had gone to the shop to do some shopping.  I took this photo as I was walking back over the bridge.  I know there’s a lot of cloud in the sky and it looks quite a dull day, but it was rather quite warm.  The sun kept appearing then disappearing again.  The big brown building to the left of the picture is the Town Hall where the council work and all the administrative work goes on for the town.

On a good day, this river can look lovely with the sun glistening on the water.  But, I think whatever the weather, it still looks nice, right?   This river runs into the sea in this direction.  Facing the other way the river runs into the Norfolk Broads.

Norfolk is the county the town is in, in England. the Norfolk Broads is a series of waterways and rivers that run through Norfolk. There are many boating holidays this time of year and famous for the wildlife. I was standing on the bridge connecting the west of Gt Yarmouth to the east.
