This is Herne Bay Central Auckland and in the background you will see Auckland Harbour Bridge. That goes to the North shore.
The ground is a mixture of sand and silt – a type of mud. Here I was with my dear friend Madeleine and we were walking her neighbour’s dog, Claire.
I know several boats come and go. These are great beaches. At the moment Auckland has problems with its drainage and I wouldn’t advise swimming in the beaches around here until they have that sorted. If you do best go for a shower very quickly and don’t put your head under the water.
I really liked this image of the bay in New Zealand.
Thanks so much Deepizzaguy, glad you like it.
It reminds of my days living in the former Canal Zone in Panama.
Was it the fog that blurred the bridge?
Thanks so much Albert, no this bridge is in the distance, hence why it is more faint.
Sorry, I missed a couple of days. This is the most amazing picture.
Thanks so much Doc, glad you like it.
