I have been thinking about purchasing a drawing tablet, so I decided to search more about it. I found someone on u-tube that seems to know more about it. If you watch this video you will hear about many types of drawing tablets.
There are inexpensive drawing tablets, and there are expensive ones, but which one is better? The person talking on this video talks about many options, and which is the best for you. He wants to help people interested in buying a drawing tablet, not spend too much money, unless it is what they need.
There is a drawing tablet that is better for people on the go, but very expensive. He talks about how cheaper tablets can be just fine as well. Artist’s tools are important to learn about, so watch and learn.
I use Wacom One Medium, which is very cheap and works great for me. Now it’s even cheaper, then it was when I purchased mine, but it’s a bit different model 672-N… Cintiq is expensive, and how the author of the video says, it won’t create a great art for you 😀
Tablets that you can use without computer look just amazing. I thought about thing like this – instead of buying a notebook… but it’s too expensive…
Thank you Lapka for this interesting information.
I do not use it (I am not an artist like you), so I find it hard for you to give advice
I am no artist, I just have the passion to try to do better.
I have two different drawing tablets that I use. I often run online meetings and connect the tablet to quickly draw a network, or IT problem out for the people on the meeting.
I would recommend Wacom tablets.
1. They are a reliable company that has been around for a while.
2. their drivers are stable and don’t take your system down.
That said they have low end and high-end tablets. I would recommend you go to Best Buy in your area (if you have one) and try the various tablets if they will let you.
I recommend Bamboo Folios…

Thank you Doc Anderson, I will look into this information. Maybe if I am good my husband will get me one for Christmas lol.
My advice would be to buy the inexpensive one and if you use it alot and find it is holding you back then start saving up for one with the features you’ll need…
Thank you Alex for this advice.
you could save more money starting off at the high end, but only if it turns out you use it all the time and like that model…
Sounds like something you would really enjoy.
Maybe I would Carol, but do I want to invest in one is the issue lol.
if you are really into it, why not. my students’ output using drawing tablets are fantastic.
Thank you, I am trying to save up for one at the moment. If you have information from your students, please send them to me.
I am simply not an artist, and I think it is a fabulous idea for you. So I am going to go through and share your posts on social media again and see if we can get you some extra to buy one. I think you would love it.
Thank you Ghostwriter, but I still can’t decide which one to buy. I can’t afford an expensive one. Just undecided as of right now,
