TSA’s ‘digital dog nose’ aims to speed airport lines

source

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is testing out new technology that will speed up check-in lines.  The new scanners will be less invasive so that the new scanner will not show the TSA agent your jumblies because your ID card will be scanned.

Plus, the new CT scanner will be able to scan the bags of toddlers without having to open them.  Also, the biggest improvement will be that the scanner will be able to detect any bomb-making chemicals like a bomb-sniffing dog.  Hence, the digital dog nose may become a staple at airports throughout the USA.  However, more research is being done at the University of Rhode Island before that happens.
