Mini Canoe Form at Paul Smith's College WCHA meet

In the auction tent of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) meet at Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondacks of New York state there was this cute little mini-canoe. Actually it was a form for making a canoe. This form was heavy solid wood with steel bands on it. Steam bent ribs would be bent over this form at the steel bands and then planking would be put over this to form the mini 4-5 foot canoe. Was this canoe used to paddle? No, it was a nice coffee table or cradle canoe that would be used as a piece of furniture inside a house or cabin as a tribute to full sized wooden canoes.
