The eagles do not stay in the cage – Khabib Nurmagomedov

Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, nicknamed ‘The Eagle’, said he had warned the UFC that he could not control himself during the fight with Irishman Conor McGregor for the lightweight title.

“I told the UFC that on October 6, when the fence closed, it did not respond to me.” On what happened after the fight, some said it was the right thing to do, others said no, but I’ll tell you the following about what’s happening: the eagles do not stay in the cage , “Nurmagomedov said at a meeting with his fans in his hometown of Majachkalá (Dagestan, Russia), this Monday after beating McGregor in the octagon.

On October 6, Nurmagomedov  defended  his UFC lightweight belt by submitting by strangulation in the fourth round to the Irish in the T-Mobile Arena pavilion in the city of Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) before 20,000 spectators .

The fight ended with a scandalous incident. After his victory, Khabib jumped the fence that surrounds the octagon and  attacked  the members of the corner of McGregor, for which the Nevada Athletic Commission  decided  not to pay the two million dollars that corresponded to him for having proclaimed champion  until it was investigated what happened.

Nurmagomedov’s father, who is also his coach, explained  that a member of the rival team made numerous offensive comments against the fighter on social networks and also during the fight.
