Social media and a NFL star pitch in to assist students in N C

The power of the Go Fund Me page and an assist from current Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Thomas Davis are being credited in assisting a Charlotte North Carolina barbershop named Headlines Barbershop to assist 14 students who owed money to their high school to pay for lunch and band uniforms that was around $4,500 to be paid to the school or else the 14  students would not be eligible to receive their diplomas on Graduation Day.

The daughter of Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Thomas Davis asked her dad if he could assist the 14 students who owed $4,500 dollars to pay off their debts to graduate from East Mecklenburg High School.

Davis who saw the plea for funds by the Headlines Barbershop on the Go Fund Me page to assist raising the funds for the students that needed the funds to pay off their debt did his part to assist the families of the needy students since he spent 14 seasons with the Panthers from 2005-2018 to give back to his community as a goodwill gesture of his part which I seriously doubt will make it to the sports internet sites who like to report the negative stories of current and former American football players who are off the field issues.

I am sure that the families of the 14 needy students who were not able to pay off the debts to the school are happy that thanks to a local barbershop, a Go Fund Me page and a former Panthers football player, the 14 students were able to join their classmates at the graduation ceremony this year.
