Raining on Roberta at Paul Smiths College

At Paul Smith’s College in the Northern Adirondacks we are at the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association’s meet (WCHA) and famous “Paddle By”. Here the many wooden canoes and boats line up and pass the podium on Lower Saint Regis Lake and the announcer tells about the wooden craft, its maker and who is rowing or paddling her. Here is an original Adirondack Guideboat, Roberta, being rowed by and it has just started a brief but strong shower out on the lake.
