My NBA Draft 2017 Review: New York Knicks

8. Frank Ntilikina – PG – SIG Strausborg (France).  6’5″, 190 lbs.  (5.2 ppg, .430 3pt).

44. Damyean Dotson – SG – Houston.  6’5″, 205 lbs.  (17.4 ppg, 6.9 rpg, .443 3pt, .830 FT).

58. Ognjen Jaramaz – PG – KK Mega Leks.  6’4″, 194 lbs.  (12.2 ppg, 3.5 apg).

The Knicks look to become lucky two years in a row in going with international players.  Ntilikina has plenty of upside with his outside shot, but needs to become stronger when taking the ball to the rim.  Nevertheless, he will be given a chance to become the starting point guard this upcoming season.

Dotson is a steal in the second round.  His outside shooting and his ability at shooting guard to hit the glass will give him some possible playing opportunities off of the bench.

Jaramaz is about a couple of years away.  He needs to develop his perimeter shot, but he is already good in making things happen in transition.

Grade:  C+.
