Indianapolis Colts player Darius Leonard great gesture of kindness

The funny thing about the National Football League offseason is that this story will definitely boost the morale of league officials that have to deal with the negative publicity dealing with the bad behavior of their players who get in trouble with the law due to their off the field indiscretions.

On Easter, Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard was driving in his auto in his hometown when he saw a lady who had a flat tire on the side of the road.

Leonard had no idea that the lady who suffered a flat tire when she was on her way to attend church was his former high school biology teacher Martha Isbell.

Isbell was thankful that one of her former students in high school was in the area to change her flat tire. Darius managed to change the flat tire with ease so his former teacher would be able to go to church on that fateful Easter day.

Isbell mentioned that Leonard has such a heart of compassion for other people that even it she was not the person who needed assistance to change a flat tire, Leonard would have done the same favor to a complete stranger.

Sure Leonard’s great deed will not be splashed on the national sports scenes as the lead story. However it is nice to see a football star assisting someone in need. It is a breath of fresh air that all of us need to see in our world today.
