Expert Breaks Down How The Finishing Horse Lost The Kentucky Derby

I was watching the Kentucky Derby on the big screen and when the races ended, I turned to everyone in the area and “said hold your tickets. There will be an objection.” Many said “no” in the Derby and I replied “Mark my words.”

Well is the disqualification really over? It is hard to say, I suppose someone could try to sue.

The fact is that Luis Saez made a mistake. The track was muddy, the conditions were awful, the stress intense and he made a mistake. Some mistakes are costly.

As for me, the rules apply especially in the big races.

As for the people who were gambling and betting on the race – that is why they call it gambling. There is no guarantee when you gamble.

If you have an opinion I would love to hear it.

  1. My sister Felicity used to be involved in the racing industry. Its a complicated game. Horses go by pedigree, track conditions, the Jockey who is riding them and the most important is the health of the horse.
Also it is not called, “The Sport of Kings”‘ for nothing
