Conor McGregor returned back to the Octagon Saturday evening after more than a year off at UFC 246 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.  He faced off against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in a welterweight (170 lbs) fight.

However, McGregor did not have any rust at all because he immediately went after Cerrone.  In the clinch, he hit Cerrone with three shoulder strikes that bloodied up Cerrone.  That was the beginning of the end because McGregor backed up Cerrone to the cage with a left high kick.  Then, he hit Cerrone with his patented left hands to end the fight after only 40 seconds.

McGregor says that he wants to fight again real soon because he is facing impending sexual assault cases in Ireland.
