The flowers were in one of the city-run planters on the 5500 block of North Broadway Avenue. I saw them on the way to work one day.

I took the photo using a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera using it’s built-in macro capabilities. No attachments were used. I used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to crop slightly to put the flower in the center of the image and then adjust the lighting and boost the contrast and vibrance.
