All of these photos are of the same bird. I was watching it flying over the beach, diving into the water and occasionally catching a fish.
This bird is more efficient than most fishermen, but people can’t fly like these and they haven’t got the eyesight these birds have.
This is a common Tern in New Zealand, a White Fronted Tern. Here are my photos.
