Wacky Wednesday – Bird Behaviour of Spur Winged Plovers

I was going for a walk in the park when I looked about in the sky as I heard a row. It was these 2 birds that made a lot of noise and landed like they have in the thumbnail.

Bird behaviour is not quite what I expected but then I don’t fully know what to expect as I have seen different types of birds have different behaviour amongst themselves.

Lets say that these ones are a pair.

By the way we call this type of bird “a Spur Winged Plover”. Not seen spurs in the wings and not sure what a typical plover is like. Mynas have yellow around the face but that is the only thing they have in common.

What do you think?
