Virus cocktail brews in the DRC

Not only do the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have to deal with the spread of Covid-19, the battered country now has to deal with another Ebola outbreak.  Last week, a person tested positive for having the Ebola virus in the town of North Kivu.

Now, medical personnel are looking to stop the spread of two deadly viruses at the same time.  Fortunately, this country is used to dealing with quarantining patients.  This experience is critical because more people are likely to stay at home instead of the rest of the countries in the world that are still becoming accustomed to the quarantine.  The difference between the Ebola virus and Covid-19 is that the Ebola virus can only spread from person to person once a person begins to develop symptoms, while the coronavirus can be spread without a person having symptoms.
