Humans have 46 chromosomes. If you think that this is complex, though, crayfish have 200. Also, humans share about 70% of their DNA with common garden slugs. Does this explain the reason we have so many politicians?

The largest cell in a human body only occurs in women; the egg. The smallest cell in a human body only occurs in men; a sperm cell. Yet, when they combine, they can result in an entirely new human being. For the perpetuation of the species, neither is more important than the other, either.

#13 A fetus

At the age of about 12 weeks, a human fetus develops their own unique fingerprints. At that age, they are also capable of facial expressions, such as scowling. Apparently, at this point, the fetus is both an individual and is self-aware. Amazing, isn't it?
